Help

How can we help?

Are you a current existing customer of GOFAST, Swisscharge, MOVE, or Energie 360° Mobility?

Then we hope to help you with these answers.

Payments & Plans - Existing customers

With the merger of the brands, a new, large charging network is being created – not only fast charging, but also slow and medium-speed charging, exactly as it fits into your daily life. That's why on the new website you'll see our new JOYA products instead of the previous ones from GOFAST, Swisscharge, MOVE and Energie 360°.

First off: nothing. Your current plan continues to work unchanged for now, only individual charging tariffs (CHF/kWh) may adjust. We'll let you know in good time what changes and when. Fancy trying out JOYA already? Simply register in the app (as soon as available) with your familiar email address – we'll link your accounts in the background.

We can't give you a fixed date just yet. What's certain: you'll hear from us in good time and more than once via email before anything changes.

You can continue to use your existing product as usual until further notice and cancel it under the contractually agreed terms as always. Should we ever discontinue a product, we'll show you a suitable alternative in good time. But honestly: We're convinced you'll love JOYA.

Account, App & Access - Existing customers

For Swisscharge customers: you log in with your existing email address (as soon as the app is available), and in the background we automatically link your account. Nothing gets moved, nothing gets lost – any existing credit remains credited to you as well. Right after the switch, your charging history may briefly not be visible, but it will reliably reappear.

More information will follow soon for MOVE customers.

As soon as the new JOYA app is available, you simply log in with the same email address as before – your history and personal information will then be transferred automatically.

We can't say for certain just yet. During a comparable earlier switch, some customers had to re-set their favorites – it's best to plan for that just in case it happens to you too.

Becoming a customer couldn't be easier: download the app, add a payment method (credit card or TWINT) – done, you're ready to go. By the way, you can also charge using a credit card or common charging cards via roaming. However, for the best experience and the greatest price transparency, we recommend the JOYA app.

Contract, Legal & Own Station - Existing customers

Of course. You have the right to request access to your data or have it deleted at any time. We'll take care of this for you within 30 days – simply get in touch with our customer advisors.

No, you don't need to do anything – your station will continue to operate unchanged. We'll explain everything about the operator portal for business customers separately.

With our private charging solution featuring dedicated operator access, you can authorize users and bill charging sessions separately. Details on this will follow shortly.

Malfunctions & On-Site Support

Check out our short charging guide in the app – that usually does the trick. If it still doesn't work, you'll also find our support contacts right there.

First, try to end the charging process at the station or in the app. Depending on your vehicle, you can also release the connector via the vehicle software or the door lock. If that doesn't work, you'll find the emergency release in the manual – just follow the manufacturer's instructions there.

If your charging process doesn't start, there can be many reasons for this. First, make sure your vehicle is switched off. Often it already helps to briefly disconnect the charging cable and hold it firmly when plugging it back in until it clicks into place properly. Then start the charging again via the display. If the problem persists, contact our support.

It's simple: You can see the live status of each station in the JOYA app, in apps from other providers, and in map services like Google Maps.

Vehicles usually lock the charging cable in place automatically—linked to the car's locking mechanism. Maybe you can find the vehicle owner nearby and ask them to unlock the charging spot.

How annoying! In addition to a friendly conversation with the vehicle owner, you can also contact the operator of the parking lot so that they can locate or page the person. Unfortunately, we don't have a better solution for this yet.

Payments & Plans

Yes, you can store a credit card and TWINT, and you can still link an RFID card to your account so you can charge even more easily.

Your account is free, there is no basic fee. You only pay for what you actually charge. Billing takes place directly after each charging session.

You order your RFID card directly in the app. There, you'll also see any applicable costs.

You can delete your account directly in the app, as long as there is no active subscription and no outstanding invoice. After 14 days it will be permanently deleted – if you log in again within this period, everything will be back: your charging history, your receipts, and all the benefits of your JOYA account.

Payment & Invoice

At JOYA you pay with the JOYA app or charging card, as well as with many cards and apps from other providers. At many charging stations you can also pay directly by credit card, completely independently. You'll get the best price with the JOYA app or charging card; other providers set their own prices, so check the price directly with your provider.

To do this, use the separate credit card terminal at the charging station and simply follow the instructions on it. By the way: Not every JOYA charging station has a credit card terminal. There, you can pay online with a credit card; some also accept TWINT.

No worries, this is just an authorization hold – it ensures that enough funds are available for your charging session. After the charging session (or if it's cancelled), we charge the actual amount and release the hold again. Depending on your card provider, this may take a few days.

If you pay with an app or an RFID charging card, you'll find your receipt in the billing statement from your charging service provider. When paying by credit card, depending on your location, you may be able to download the receipt immediately after payment.

If you pay with the JOYA app or charging card, please contact JOYA support. If you paid with another charging service provider, contact them directly.

At JOYA stations, the price is based on a rate per kilowatt-hour. Depending on the location, an additional parking fee may apply after a certain amount of time (for example, after 60 minutes of fast charging). To make sure you always know how much you’ll pay at a given location, it’s best to take a quick look at the app or the credit card terminal before you start charging.

The cheapest way to charge is with the JOYA app or charging card. If you pay by credit card without registering, a price per kilowatt-hour applies, which you can see directly on the card terminal. If you use another provider's RFID charging card, that provider sets the price themselves – which is why different prices may apply at the same charging station. So it's best to check directly with your provider. Depending on the location, an additional parking fee may apply after a certain amount of time (for example, after 60 minutes of fast charging).

Find stations

Yes, of course! Our network remains in place and even grows with the merger – all stations you've been able to use so far will remain visible. Additionally, the stations will gradually be renamed to JOYA.

With the JOYA app or charging card, you can see the prices directly in the app. If you pay without registering using a credit card, the price is shown on the card terminal. You can also see availability in real time.

In the app map – roaming stations at home and abroad are clearly marked. We deliberately do not maintain a fixed partner list, as the network is continuously evolving.

Roaming

Absolutely! With your JOYA account, you can charge not only at our own stations, but also at numerous JOYA partners and, quite conventionally, via roaming – in Switzerland and neighbouring countries.

Charging at other providers (roaming) is possible with us, but it can be a bit more expensive than in our own network. You can see roaming stations and their current prices directly in the app. We deliberately do not maintain a fixed list of all partner stations, as the network is constantly expanding.

JOYA has no influence over the roaming prices of other providers (EMPs) – they set their prices themselves. For the greatest price transparency, we therefore recommend charging with the JOYA app whenever possible.

There is simply no contractual relationship outside our roaming network, which is why charging doesn't work there. It's best to look for JOYA-owned or clearly marked roaming partner stations.

Although JOYA does not operate its own charging network outside Switzerland, thanks to roaming you can naturally use your JOYA account to charge abroad as well.

Technology & Logistics

Yes and no - cables and plugs are permanently installed at all JOYA fast-charging stations. However, at certain AC charging stations you will need your own cable.

No, unfortunately it is not possible to reserve our charging stations.

Charging stations are for charging—please free up your spot as soon as your battery is sufficiently charged. Just like at a gas station, our charging spots aren’t meant for extended parking; after all, our fast chargers get you back on the road quickly. At JOYA charging stations, you may be charged a parking fee after a certain amount of time (at fast-charging stations, for example, after 61 minutes). Exception: Stations specifically designed for longer-term or overnight charging, such as those in hotel garages. You can always view the exact terms and conditions for each location in your app or directly on the charging station.

At JOYA fast-charging stations, you can charge any electric car with a CCS charging port. Along the highway, you'll also find one station each with a CHAdeMO connector. You can check the exact availability at each location in the JOYA app or on our website.

Sure, all Tesla models can charge at JOYA – whether via app, charging card, or credit card. For fast charging with the S and X models, we recommend the Tesla CCS adapter.

At most JOYA rapid charging stations, two vehicles can charge simultaneously and conveniently. The specified power applies per station, not per connector, and is dynamically divided when two charging processes are underway.

Vehicle & Battery

The most effective way to charge quickly is between 5 and 80 percent battery level. Above that, your vehicle noticeably reduces the power to protect the battery.

Several factors come into play: your battery's fast-charging capability, its temperature, the state of charge, the ambient temperature, and how many charging points are currently in use. Ideal conditions are a battery temperature of 25–35 degrees and a charge level of 5–80%. In winter it takes correspondingly longer for the battery to reach the right temperature – so a charging stop is more worthwhile after a certain distance driven. Some vehicles even preheat the battery automatically.

Business customers: Administration

On the new website, you will see the new products from JOYA. The previous products (Legacy) will continue to exist for the time being, and we will inform you early if anything changes.

For now, nothing will change with your product. Should anything be adjusted in the future, we will reach out to you in good time.

The notice periods agreed upon in your contract apply – nothing changes about that.

Support, Brand & General Information

JOYA is your Swiss charging network for electric vehicles. Together with strong partners, we are building the largest and most attractive charging network in Switzerland – not only for fast charging, but also for slow or medium-speed charging, exactly as it suits your daily routine. To this end, the previous offerings from GOFAST, Swisscharge, MOVE, and Energie 360° are being phased out step by step.

At its own charging stations, JOYA charges vehicles exclusively with 100% renewable green electricity.
